I was at wedding ceremony recently, and then officiating minister
gave a warning to the new couple and the entire congregation. It was a warning
that caused a stir and rumbling in the gathering.
He said,“Husbands, wives, beware of prophets, especially false
prophets that will tell you your spouse is a witch or this and that. If they
break your home, it is you that will be answerable to God!”
Perhaps to express their confusion, there were discussions in
hush tones everywhere in the entire gathering to the extent that the minister
had to call everybody to order.
Yes, “Beware of prophets and pastors!” But the questions is:
- Do pastors and prophets really break marriages?
- If a man of God counsels you to send away your spouse, you not responsible for the decisions you take?
