It
is a common truth that it is the responsibility of the wife to make the
marriage union work. Though the institution is designed to honour and protect
her, she must understand that, sometimes one have to cope with hardship and
even conflicts in any relationship, especially in marriage.
What
this requires is that the woman or wife must kill selfish interests - wanting
to have everything go her way.
As
a wife, if you must achieve true success in marriage, you need to strive to
understand your husband's visions, dreams, business, career, etc, and support
him to fulfill them. This way fulfillment comes to both of you.
If
you know the race your spouse wants to run in life, join him or her. The
marital race is better run as relay and not a one-man show. Two indeed are
better than one!
As
long as your life and marriage is geared towards fulfilling one purpose
(oneness and joy), do your part. Love and be committed to your spouse and every
other thing would fall in place.
