Despite pleas by various governments
officials for the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) to call off their strike
action in the face of the Ebola virus outbreak, the doctors have stuck to their
guns, insisting the one month old strike continues.
The President of the
Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Kayode Obembe, had on Friday resigned and
then rescinded his resignation.
And many out there are stiff scare of the consequences of the Ebola virus. Could this be a move by the doctors to hide from the scourge of the virus since they are more at risk?
The fear of Ebola is d beginning of sense and d continuation of strike.

ReplyDeleteWhen ASUU went on many of us supported them. but this doctor's stike is meaningless n unsupportable. they are just making d masses to suffer becos of titles.
