A youth pastor is reportedly standing by his wife after she
was accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy she met through
his church.
Ariel Stevenson, 25, surrendered to authorities on Friday
and was indicted on charges of statutory rape and sexual exploitation of a
minor.

Police say she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old
boy she met at Franklin Christian Church in Franklin, Tennessee, where her
husband Jeremy works.
The relationship came to light in May when her husband
reportedly told members of his church. The church's lead minister then
contacted authorities, The Tennessean reported.
Despite the revelations, the couple has stayed together and
they are seeing a counselor, according to reports.
"They are trying to reconcile," lead minister Zach
Stewart told The Tennessean. "It's been a fast four months of
prayer."

He added that none of the alleged sexual acts took place on
the church's property.
The case was presented to a Williamson County Grand Jury
earlier this month and she will appear in court on October 15. Stevenson was
released on Friday on a $20,000 bond. Records do not list her attorney.
