Bandits Demand For N100m Ransom For Kidnapped Wife



It has been reported that a suspected member of the gang that kidnapped Toyin Nwosu, wife of Mr. Steve Nwosu, the Deputy Managing Director of The SUN Newspapers, have contacted the family, demanding for N100m.

But theLagos State Police commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, said that the gang are robbers and that everything is being done to locate the criminals.

Nwosu was abducted right in the presence of her family, from their Lagos residence in Amuwo-Odofin, Festac town, Lagos, at about 2:30am on Monday, September 14, 2015.

CP Owoseni said the same gang terrorized the Ago Palace, Okota area on Monday. He said the police would ensure the release of the director’s wife, as well as apprehend the robbery gang.

Mr. Steve Nwosu have entreated the police to help get his wife released.
